General Information
MAATS is a highly focused marine accessory aftermarket event designed to assemble suppliers and buyers in a time- and cost-effective program. A groundbreaking marine trade event, the format consists of:
Trade Show Exhibits
Dedicated exhibit time allows manufacturers to display new products and link company technical and marketing experts with accessory buyers.
Pre-scheduled Buyer-Supplier Meetings
The Buyer-Supplier meeting program is one of the most essential elements to your success at MAATS! An invitation program provides accessory manufacturers with a guaranteed schedule of buyer meetings. Nearly 1,200 meeting slots are available during the event, giving accessory manufacturers and buyers an unparalleled opportunity for pre-scheduled, private meetings away from the distractions of the show-floor. The emphasis on generating new business and introducing new products requires manufacturers to come to MAATS prepared with their latest products and programs. Take advantage of the opportunity to meet with multiple aftermarket buyers in one week and save money by not having to make individual sales trips!
New Product Previews
Each day, New Product Previews are held over a complimentary breakfast, where accessory suppliers have the opportunity to make brief (5 minute) product debuts to a targeted audience of buyers and media.
Networking Events
MAATS offers various social networking events, such as the Welcome Reception & Silent Auction and the Awards Reception, to provide manufacturers and buyers with the opportunity to establish business relationships in a more casual setting off of the show floor.
S.T.E.P. Purchasing Meetings
The National Marine Distributors Association (NMDA) has combined its S.T.E.P. Purchasing Conference with MAATS. For two days, July 14-15, 2008, NMDA distributor and manufacturer members will meet in private, closed-door meetings to plan their programs for the year. S.T.E.P. Purchasing at MAATS is strictly for NMDA distributor and manufacturer members.
